PilotNow accepting founding practices

Your front desk wasn’t hired to sit on hold.

Tooth Fairy AI follows up on every insurance claim (the calls, the emails, the denials) until it’s paid. Your team uploads the treatment once, then gets back to patients.

How it works

One upload. Everything after that is on us.

  1. 1

    Submit as usual

Your office sends the claim from the practice software you already use. Nothing changes there.

  2. 2

    Upload once

Drop the treatment notes, x-rays, and claim into Tooth Fairy. That’s the only manual step.

  3. 3

    We chase it

AI agents call and email the insurer on a schedule. Human specialists review anything unusual.

  4. 4

    You get paid

Track every claim live. If one is denied or underpaid, we work the appeal until it’s resolved.

Integrations with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental are on our roadmap, so even that one upload can go away.

The problem

Insurance follow-up is the most expensive job nobody wants.

18 min1

of staff time for every claim-status phone call to an insurer

$15.211

cost of each manual claim-status check, vs. $3.73 when automated

72%1

of dental claim-status checks still aren’t handled fully electronically

$42.8k2

average yearly salary for a dental insurance coordinator, before benefits

  2. ZipRecruiter, Dental Insurance Coordinator salary, Sept 2026

Less hold music, more magic

Stop paying someone to sit on hold. Let the Tooth Fairy do it.

A full-time insurance coordinator spends much of the day waiting on insurers. We do that waiting for you, and your team gets back to the patients in the chair.

A full-time insurance coordinator

  • About $3,566 a month in salary alone, before taxes, benefits, and PTO
  • 18 minutes on hold for every claim-status call
  • Sick days, vacations, and turnover leave claims sitting
  • Follow-up happens when there’s time, not on a schedule

Tooth Fairy AI

  • One flat monthly price, quoted for your claim volume
  • Zero hold time for your team: we make the calls
  • Works every business day, never falls behind
  • Every claim followed up on schedule until it’s paid

Built with dentists

Co-founded by a dentist who has lived this problem for 15 years.

Dr. Stuart Gibby, DDS, MS, is a practicing endodontist and the founder of Mountain View Endodontics. He’s seen firsthand how much of a front office’s week disappears into insurance follow-up. Tooth Fairy AI is shaped by his practice and by the Utah dental offices we’ve been talking with.

Security

Built for HIPAA from day one.

You’re trusting us with your patients’ information. Here’s exactly how we protect it, with no vague badges.

Encrypted everywhere

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), including every uploaded file.

Your practice only

Each practice’s data is walled off at the database level. No one else can see your claims.

Two-step sign-in

Every account requires an authenticator app, plus automatic sign-out after 1 hour idle.

Full audit trail

Every view, upload, and change to patient information is logged and kept.

BAA for every practice

We sign a Business Associate Agreement with each practice before any patient data comes in.

HIPAA-eligible cloud

Hosted entirely on HIPAA-eligible Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the U.S.

FAQ

Questions dentists ask us

Do we still submit claims ourselves?+

For now, yes. Your office submits the claim from the practice software you already use, then uploads the treatment documents to Tooth Fairy once. From there, all the follow-up is on us.

Is it really AI making the calls?+

AI agents handle the routine calls and emails to insurers. Human specialists on our team review edge cases and anything that needs judgment, so nothing important is left to a script.

Does it work with our practice management software?+

It works alongside any system today, because the only step is an upload. Direct integrations with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental are on our roadmap.

How is patient information protected?+

Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, every practice’s data is isolated at the database level, sign-in requires two-step verification, and every access is logged. We sign a BAA with each practice before any patient data comes in.

What does the pilot involve?+

Founding practices get a locked-in rate, hands-on onboarding from the founders, and a direct line to shape the product. Join the waitlist and one of us will reach out personally.
